Surprise Daddy!!

Mikayla and I surprised Mike with a 30th birthday dinner a couple of weeks ago. I actually pulled it off - I just knew I was going to open my big mouth. We had a party of 30 there. Mike was so surprised and was really impressed that I actually kept it a surprise. The only people I did not get a picture of were Mike and I.

The Mills family - Mike's buddy from work.

Mikayla with her buddy, RJ. Also with Bobby and Toyia Gourley(RJ's mommy and daddy)

Uncle DJ and Aunt Andrea (carrying Baby Kate - coming in May)

Cousin Brian and Aimee Lomax

Brandon and Angie Webster and in the background Chris and Lindsay Donaldson

Jay Waller (a fine example of our Board of Directors at church - hahahaha)

Random Pictures

Took these pictures last night of Daddy and Mikayla playing. Mike put her in the clothes basket and she wanted to stay there. When he took her out she would reach for the basket again. Very cute!!

You would not know by this face that she was enjoying herself, but I promise she was. She must have been pouting about something...maybe Daddy tried to take her out of her basket.

Here's the much happier girl!

She even wanted her piano while she sat in the basket.

Who knew Mike was so talented!!

Our little angel!!

This has to be one of my new favorite pictures... so sweet!!

Stingray Reef

Last Monday we went with our Stay at Home Mom's group to the Stingray Reef at Opry Mills Mall. Mikayla got lots of attention from the older girls - she LOVED it!! They wanted to pet her.

The stingray are huge!

You could actually feed them with shrimp. The things would come out of the tank to get the food!

Mikayla rode the carousel for the first time. I don't have a picture of her on here because I had to hold her and could not take the picture. She looked so tiny riding. We had a very good time.

Lunchtime

Mikayla wanted to help feed herself at lunch today. She is getting so big(well, big for her). Friday night she started making kissing noises and puckering her lips... so cute. She wanted to give "kisses" at church this morning. Wanted to share some pictures from lunch today.

Trying to decide what to do next... throw the spoon or...
Show Mommy what I have...
or I could eat what is left on this spoon - that sounds like a good idea.
Look, Mommy all gone!!!
Now, I want to show you that my bowl is empty... I did a good job!!!
