The kids had such an incredible Christmas... now to find room for all the new stuff!!! I am a horrible multi-tasker... I took video of Christmas morning but NO pictures!!! I cannot believe I did that. I guess our hands were a little full with two kids!! I set the camcorder up on the tripod and we opened gifts with the kids and had such a great time. Mikayla was so much fun she loved everything about Christmas!! Christmas Eve we opened some presents... the ones from the kids to us and from the kids to each other. We also baked a birthday cake for Jesus and had a little birthday party for Him. We woke up Christmas morning to presents from santa and a white Christmas!! Mikayla was soooo excited about both!!! We are so blessed to be able to give our kids a great Christmas... Thank you Lord!!! We got ready and headed to Mamaw and Papa's around noon. Santa visited there as well. Mikayla had wanted a new dollhouse for Christmas... well santa did not deliver the house here. She was very disappointed but little did she know it was waiting for her at Mamaw and Papa's!! Luke is enjoying his new stuff... some things are a little too old for him... he got a lot of 6month stuff. We all had a wonderful Christmas!! We did miss AJ Christmas morning... it was not the same without him sneaking around the tree shaking all the presents!!
Can't believe my little guy is 5 months old today!!! He is getting to be a big boy!! He is eating 6.5 - 7 oz every 3-4 hours, eating baby food, and sleeping at least 10 hours every night! He loves bathtime, laughing, "talking", his sister, sportscenter, and his jumparoo!! Oh, and his fingers and toes!! He is trying to crawl, if he could get his knees under him he would be gone. Not sure if I am ready for that yet!! His favorite foods right now are squash and peaches.
Mikayla is loving all her new toys... I think her favorites right now are her dollhouse and her leapster explorer(handheld video game). She is going through a rotten stage right now... testing her boundaries. She likes to ignore us when we ask her questions and likes 500 kisses and hugs at bedtime!! Typical 3 year old, I guess!! She got an easy bake oven for Christmas and last night we made soft pretzels, which she loved!! Had a playday for her friend Isabella yesterday. They played with castles and a ball pit, and had a picnic is the kitchen!! Last night when she was going to bed she told me "I miss Isabella". So sweet!! She loves Disney channel shows (the big kid shows)... Zach and Cody, Wizards of Waverly Place, Good luck Charlie, and Phineas and Ferb... she still likes Mickey Mouse the best though. She has informed me that she wants a Micky Mouse birthday party and Luke should have one too. And she also loves cooking shows on the food network... Rachel Ray is her fave. Well, Luke is waking up... will have to put pictures on here later.

Lots going on in the Scheetz household. Mikayla is soooo excited for Santa!! She loves EVERYTHING Christmas... songs, decorations, lights... she loves it all!! Her being this excited makes it more exciting for us... we cannot wait till Christmas morning. Obviously, Luke could care less about Christmas. Here are a few pictures from things lately.

Mikayla with her class during the program. She practiced for weeks and knew all the songs by heart... well when it was performance time she just wanted to watch the other kids sing!! Imagine that!! It was fine... maybe next time. At least she did not freak out and cry.

We celebrated Christmas with Kara and Aj on Sunday. Aj has been here working since after Thanksgiving but Kara surprised us by coming for a visit. We were so surprised and excited to see her!! They headed back to Michigan today (Wednesday) and stopped by our house to see the kiddos on their way back. The day after Christmas they are headed on their honeymoon to Mexico. We will be using Skype a lot I am sure. I am so thankful for Skype!!

Mikayla helped mommy put all the ornaments on the Christmas tree... she did a great job. I thought she would want to put just a few up but she helped for the whole tree. She developed her own name for the ornaments... decorates.

Happy 4th month birthday Luke!! I took him yesterday for his checkup and he weighed 12lbs, 13oz and was 23.5 inches long. Everything looked good!! He is a chunker. Started on cereal and a few fruits and veggies. Like cereal with pears and likes squash.
