Three Months Old

My how time has flown by and how Luke has changed!! Just a few things he is doing... rolling over, "talking", loves his lovey... tiger blankie, smiles like crazy, sleeping through the night (7-9 hours every night), loves things that light up, LOVES his sister, loves watching people, ceiling fans, and people while they eat, loves bath time, eating 5 oz of formula every 3-4 hours, and is a happy baby majority of the time. He is so different, like night and day, from a few months ago!!! Such a happy guy!! Will post more pics of things later... after Halloween.

Took some pictures this morning outside with the leaves... it did not turn out the way I wanted it to. I wanted to get some with kids together but neither one would really cooperate...imagine that!! I got some ok one though. We are getting some done next week for Luke's 3months... cannot believe he is almost 3 months old!!

Things are moving right along here. Mikayla is loving school and is learning so much. She loves her teachers and friends. You would not know Mikayla's social personality if you watched her in the classroom... she hates having the spotlight on her. If you talk to her on a one on one basis, she will talk your ear off. However, at circle time forget getting her to answer any questions, sing, or really talk at all. I hate it for her... she is such a joy to be around I wish she would share that with everyone. We have to stay late after church every time we go just so Mikayla can socialize... but if all those people were to stop and look at her at the same time she would freeze up. Her favorite CD to listen to in the car is Jonas Brothers (Camp Rock 2). Her favorite shows right now are the big kid shows on the Disney Channel (Hannah Montana, Suite Life, and Good Luck Charlie). I think I have a 7 year old instead of 3 year old!! Such a great big sister. She loves Luke!!! Wants to give him kisses and hugs all the time( oh and high fives also). He is getting so big!! We went to the doctor for his two month checkup this week. He weighed 10lbs and was 22 2/3 inches. Is mostly a happy guy, especially after he eats. He is eating between 4.5 oz and 5 oz every 3-4 hours. At night he is going about 6 hours between feedings. Although, 2 times in the last week he has gone over 7 hours ( I love this!!!!)!!! We are making many trips to Vandy for hearing aids and different doctor appointments. After he turns 12 months, he will be having cochlear implants inserted so we are getting prepared for that. We have lots of people to meet before then... surgeons, audiologist, speech therapists, doctors... fun, fun!!! I know the outcome will be worth it. I have put some recent pictures from this week.

Our baby boy today... cannot believe tomorrow he is 8 weeks old!!! He is smiling and sometimes I think he is trying to laugh!!

Luke is getting so big!!! As of yesterday, he weighs 8lbs. 13oz. He has gained 3 lbs since we left the hospital!! He is a pig... I guess that is why.
